Manuja grew up in Colombo, Sri Lanka and finished her Bachelors degree in Chemistry in University of Colombo, SL. She came to USA in 2006 and finishes her Masters degree in Analytical chemistry in Kansas State University. In Kansas State University, she did a research project on a method development on aphid salivary secretion analysis. She joined Washington State University in 2009, Fall and currently she is a graduate student and a member of Dr Herb Hill research group. Her current research interest is IMMS applications for chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial chemicals.
